Ocean Painting!

To finish off our study of Oceans, we read the story Fish Faces. This book was about how fish do not all look alike. Some fish have long, short, pointy or flat have sad faces or mean that have mouths that open wide, mouths like a tube or a beak...or fish with lines and stripes and waves! After reading the story we took a crayon and outlined a fish with different features and some background illustrations as well. Once we were finished outlining our pictures, we took watercolor paints and colored the outline in.

The finished products are hanging in the hallway on display!
