This week our poem was called Humpty Dumpty. We thought our poem was funny when Humpty fell off the wall. But, when he wasn't able to be put back together again by the king's horses and the king's men we thought it was sad. We wish he wouldn't have fallen off the wall or that he was able to be put back together again.

Learning Objectives
Today our principal Ms. Higgins asked us to post one or two learning objectives in our classroom. Our learning objectives for two of our lessons today were to recognize the new sight word and demonstrate how it is used in a sentence and our second objective was to recall the various ways to make the number 10 by counting on. Here is what the students thought of posting learning objectives:
- It was fun!
- It was fun writing them.
- I liked when we listened and then had to do it.
- I liked the letters "SWBAT" at the top.
- I think we should put them up everyday so we can learn.
