In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday my school held a reading challenge for all students. They get to slime a group of teachers today! I am one of them....I will post pics later this afternoon!

Writing our alphabet book!

We started working on our class/student treasure book today. The students become authors and illustrators of their very own book. In the upper grades the students write their own book and have it published. In Kindergarten we create a class book together. Each student writes and illustrates his/her own page. Last year my class wrote about if they could be an animal what they would be and why. This year we are writing an alphabet book!

The books are simple and easy to do! Parents are able to order the finished product and keep for years and years!

It's Dental Health week in my class! We're talking about healthy foods for your teeth.
