This week we have been learning about the season Spring. One thing we have learned is that in spring plants and flowers begin to grow once again. One of our math mini-lessons today we measured how tall we are using a piece of yarn and then took the yarn and glued it to a flower. After all of our flowers were finished, we lined them up on the board at the same height and compared the various sizes. We noticed who was the tallest, smallest and about the same size! The class had many wonderful observations while looking at the different flowers!
