AB Patterns

We have been practicing on AB patterns this week during math time. Patterns is not one of our new common core standards, but is still an important part of kindergarten math curriculum. I was very impressed with how many of my students came in knowing patterns and caught on quickly to creating their own patterns. We created patterns as a class on the board and at their seats. We also created a pattern using every student in the class.

Can you guess what pattern we created??

It was a girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, boy.....pattern!
