We read the story Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. In the story she uses leaves to create different characters. She turns her leaves into birds, fish, a cow, butterflies and much more! My students took one of their leaves they brought in from home and created an image out of it. They did a great job and I was happy to see so much creativity from each of them!
