We read this book before our math/money lesson today. It was perfect and went right along with learning about the penny!

Using our ENO board to read and listen to a story on CD! We listened to Substitute Groundhog. This story was in our listening station last week!
This week we are learning about our country's presidents! We read a weekly reader about two important presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. We also are starting our study on money!
Our surfer of the week, Emily! She brought in one of her favorite books and read it to the class. Way to go Emily!

Please Bee Mine! My class wrote a letter to our school wishing a Happy Valentine's Day and asking for everyone to be our Valentine! We then made our very own heart bumblebee's with our picture on them. We discussed the parts of a letter when writing together!
