Practicing with shapes. The students are tracing the shapes and were telling me what shape they were tracing. We also talked about how many sides each shape has and what makes a square and a rectangle different! They are learning their shapes quickly!

Matching colors and shapes. I told the students to color any circle blue, triangle greeen, orange rectangle and a red square. They did a great job with their colors and shapes!

Play stations are important for young students to learn to share, get along with one another, learn the process of rotating for stations and to continue to develop those important motor skills. Most importantly to them though is that they are having fun! =)
